Laptop dengan 2 pilihan VGA biasanya diperuntukkan untuk kebutuhan gaming. Pada beberapa setingan laptop, biasanya pemilihan untuk penggunaan VGA tersebut secara otomatis sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Jika ingin bermain game, maka akan otomatis berubah ke nVidia, dan akan kembali ke VGA Intel jika untuk kebutuhan normal saja yang tidak membutuhkan proses grafis yang tinggi. Berbeda dengan PC yang pasti akan secara otomatis akan selalu menggunakan VGA Card sebagai CPU untuk tampilan grafisnya, baik untuk bermain game atau pun saat mengerjakan sesuatu yang standar-standar saja di PC.
